a) By accepting this contract, I declare that all persons who will use the bicycle(s) rented have the necessary skills and experience to use it/them and that before starting to use it, I have checked that it/them is/are in perfect working order.
b) I undertake to immediately inform the delivery person of any malfunctions or breakages of the bicycle(s). Any modification and/or repair made to the bicycle must be authorised by the renter. I declare that the bicycle(s) will not be used inappropriately.
c) The lessor’s credit card is requested only as a guarantee and authorises the rental company to charge it for the repair costs of any damage caused to the bicycle during the rental period, unless it can be demonstrated that the damage is due to a defect in the bicycle(s), in which case the rental fee will be refunded.
d) Although not required by law, the renter recommends wearing a helmet when using the bicycle(s). It should also be noted that some models are not equipped with safety devices (lights and/or bell) and can therefore only be used from dawn to dusk.
e) Customers are required to comply with national road traffic regulations and may not use the bicycle(s) under the influence of alcohol and the use of mobile phones while cycling is not permitted.
Fines for violations of the highway code and any costs of recovery of the bicycle(s) will be borne by the customer.
f) The customer will be held responsible in case of damage or loss of the bicycle or parts of it and accessories, for an amount equal to that determined by the renter, according to the market value.

PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The deposit amount, up to a maximum of 30% of the rental cost, must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid upon delivery of the vehicles/bicycles, according to the agreements established during the booking phase.
Prices are in euros and payment in euros, therefore any exchange costs applied by banks will be charged to the customer.
Any costs caused by the change in rental conditions will be charged to the customer.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES

Cancellations must be made in writing or by email, in the table below the methods of reimbursement paid:
– Within 30 days of the start of the rental you are entitled to a 100% reimbursement of the amount paid
– From 29 to 15 days from the start of the rental you are entitled to a 60% reimbursement of the amount paid
– From 14 to 0 days from the start of the rental you are not entitled to any reimbursement of the amount paid

The calculation of days does not include the day of withdrawal, which must be communicated in writing on a working day prior to the start of the rental date.

The refund will be made within 2/3 weeks from the date of receipt of the cancellation, the refund always means the rental price and excludes any other expenses incurred by customers.

RESPONSIBILITY and CHANGE OF DATE
The consumer is responsible for the cancellation and has no right to a refund if:
– the bicycles or equipment (or part of the rented material) are returned before the end date agreed upon in the signed contract;
– for any reason or delay not related to the company’s responsibility (bad weather, mechanical problems, etc.)

It is possible to request a change to the booking dates via email, without paying penalties, up to 30 days before the first day of rental.

At the time of booking, the consumer must provide all the details required for the rental to allow the company to organize its storage.
In the absence of complete information at the time of payment for the booking (height of the passengers, mobile phone details, etc.) the company may consider the consumer in default and refuse the service according to the company cancellation policy.
