Lido di Orrì is one of the most beloved beaches on Sardinia’s eastern coast, located a few kilometers south of Bari Sardo, in the heart of Ogliastra. With its three kilometers of fine white sand and turquoise waters with shallow, sandy seabeds, it’s the perfect destination for families with children and those seeking a peaceful day at the beach.

The beach is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Following the provincial road south, you can easily reach the main entrance to the lido. You can also reach it by bicycle or e-bike, taking advantage of our rental service, in about 40 minutes.

Lido di Orrì extends across several coves, each with its own character. The northern section offers more open and wild stretches, while the central area features beach clubs with loungers, umbrellas, bars, and restaurants. The seabed slopes gently, making swimming safe even for the littlest ones. The water is extraordinarily clear, with hues ranging from emerald green to intense turquoise.

Visit Lido di Orrì in the early morning or late afternoon to enjoy the beach with fewer crowds. If you’re staying at the Domus de Janas, ask reception for beach towels and mats.
