Spring in the heart of Sardinia

An event dedicated to honoring the charm and soul of the interior of the Island, entitled ‘Primavera nel Cuore della Sardegna‘ (Spring in the Heart of Sardinia).

This engaging trail, taking place from April 25th to June 29th, passes through 14 villages, revealing the historical and cultural heritage and authentic customs of the regions of Marghine, Ogliastra, Planargia, and Baronia.
On weekends this spring, the small towns of Sardinia’s hinterland open their doors to visitors, offering spectacular views, authentic hospitality, and a wide range of activities including music, traditional performances, local crafts, and culinary specialties.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Traditional Sardinian cuisine is the true protagonist of every event. From the renowned culurgiones to local cheeses and cured meats, from handmade desserts to traditional wines, each element narrates a culinary heritage rich in flavor and authenticity.
Bari Sardo stands out for the variety and excellence of its products. Typical sweets are numerous and rich in authentic flavors: pabassinas, panisceddas, bianchinus, pani acconciu, amarettus, gattou, and pardulas. In bakeries and homes, thanks to wood-fired ovens, the art of traditional breadmaking continues to be preserved, carefully preparing su pani pintau (decorated bread), su pistoccu, and su moddizzosu, just as they once were.

During the event, you’ll also have the opportunity to observe local artisans at work up close: from woodworking and weaving to the creation of distinctive ceramics and jewelry. Every gesture embodies ancient knowledge, jealously guarded and passed down through time. There will be plenty of exhibitions, shows, and guided tours to delve deeper into Sardinia’s rich cultural heritage.
